New Year Eve 31st Dec
Steamboat dinner at Weixin's house! :)
Oh that was amazing; we bought around 10 peoples worth of food for 7 people to eat! But oh but, of course we couldn't finish! ): Still, I had a really awesome experience steamboat'ing with my beloved clique and friends~ After we finished our food, we played a really exciting game! :D It's called Karma Cup.
The idea of the game is to draw poker cards, turn by turn, player by player. Each card represents an action, which can either be "Drink half", or "Pour half", or "All Girls Drink". In front of everyone is a cup filled with whatever the player wants; can be alcohol, syrup, or even plain water. If you drawed a card, let's say "Queen", and it meant "Drink half", you have to drink half of your cup. The idea is to control your bladder and your pee! So you can't go to the toilet! :D the first one who goes toilet will be subjected to forfeit! Haha!
Oh, and the Karma Cup is a huge cup placed in the center, and whenever a player draws a certain card, let's say "4", and it meant "Pour half", the player can pour anything he/she likes into that Karma Cup. The player who draws the last King card will have to drink up the Karma Cup, whatever is inside. It could be pure alcohol, or if the players are nice, could be plain water.
Yup, and just like that, I somehow drank a lot of alcohol, to the extent I can feel myself floating, hahaha! Then we just slept like pigs throughout the following hours, which was like three or so. And I cabbed back and took a long long sleep, haha.
New Year 1st Jan
I had lunch-dinner with my class clique. Ernest, Jun Ping, Liang Yu. We dined at Ichiban Sushi, and seriously I think it's worth the price. It's value for money, definitely. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry, and it was definitely filling. The green tea there is reasonably priced and it's free flow too! It's only $1!
Hah and after that I went home to start planning my next few days.
2nd Jan
Squash in the morning, class gathering at night! :)
I went back to JJ in the morning to play Squash with Chin How. I'm very certain that my strokes have been quite messed up by badminton, hah. Not that badminton ain't good, just that I need to control when to use what. I kept using badminton strokes when playing Squash, haha!
Class gathering at night! I had booked a function room at The Frontier CC, and planned for Buffet Catering. I honestly think it's a very novel idea! We had a lot of photo-taking, a lot of catching up, a lot of talking and eating. There are a lot of photos that I do not have at the moment, be patient okay! :)
I really hope everyone enjoyed the class gathering; it was not easy to plan, really, haha. Still, my aim of bonding everyone failed. It was still blatantly obvious that individual cliques were everywhere. I went around poking into cliques and trying to talk talk. I was trying hard to mix in into other cliques, haha. Okay well, I wouldn't say it failed, though. Nonetheless, it's a long time since we had a gathering, and I'm actually impressed with the turn-up rate :) Thank you all for coming, and I hope you all had a new experience in one way or another. Probably for the next few years, I won't be organising any class gathering. Who shall take over? :D
