… When you can countdown with one hand

I'm pretty amazed at how fast things had come. I can countdown to my enlistment day with one hand, five fingers already. That explains a lot. I'm actually looking forward to entering though, since I'm pretty tired with my current obligations, a change of pace of life would do some good.

Well since my enlistment is nearing, it means Chinese New Year is coming too. So here I wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year! It's time to collect all your hongbaos! Unfortunately I won't have a lot, since I only have 2 relatives in Singapore. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to the festive season, because I'm a Chinese after all :) I wish I could be spending the season outside of Singapore though; there's so much to explore in this big big world.

And that brings me back to my frustration, I don't know how my 'A' Levels results will end up, so I don't know if I should even continue with my endeavor of applying for overseas universities (particularly those in the US). Rumours said results are out end of January. But looking at the schedule of certain activities like Orientation for JC1s, it doesn't fit in already. So possibly, mid-February?

There are a lot of things on my mind, but I cannot decide. It has very far-reaching implications, and I don't know how things will proceed on. If only I had a crystal ball, where I could glance into the future, that would be so fantastic. But, I don't. So I'm pretty stuck with my current predicament. I have no idea when I'll be enlightened, but I can tell it won't be very soon. I'll just wait for things to flow the natural way, and .. take actions as things occur.

How nice would it be, to be lying on the nice warm beach at night, glancing into the dark blue sky, observing the bright little stars, relaxing in the cool, sea breeze.
