15 days left to 'A' Levels! I'm quite panic-ed! It's time I get down and study :/ I haven't been honest with myself; been playing squash, watching movies, slacking lots. I just cannot feel the need to do my ten year series, review my prelim papers, or even just flip through my notes.
Anyways, I received my National Service enlistment letter last week. I'm supposed to report on the 28th Jan 2009 (Wed) at 9.30am. I'm under BMTC School 2. Anyone happen to be in the same school as me? Oh, I'm graded PES C, so my BMT is a modified 7-weeks one :) I'm quite happy about it, given that it won't be so strenuous and all - but I'm also quite sad I won't be able to vie for Officer Cadet School.
Going in on the 28th and all is okay for me. BUT, I cannot imagine myself going back to JJ to take 'A' Level results with my bald head. OMG. I am so gonna get a cap. Those torturous months without hair, I might even go nuts. No I'm just kidding.
I got my prelim results yesterday. It isn't exactly fantastic, but I can deal with it. I had hoped for better (like duh, who doesn't). Besides, I had wanted to use my prelim results for scholarship application. But it seems like I'll never land any scholarship with these crap results.
General Paper (H1): D
Chinese (H1): C*
Project Work (H1): A*
Mathematics (H2): A
Physics (H2): A
Chemistry (H2): C
Economics (H2): D* denotes taken at GCE 'A' Levels
Ranking points: 78/90
Minimum of 80 for a real chance of getting a scholarship. Damn.
Okay anyways, my dad was pretty nice tonight (: except for something that happened. He took us to dinner at a Mexican bar, somewhere along Changi Village. I had been there a couple of times, and every single time I enjoy the meal. The meal was rather unique, and it's portion size was large enough for me :D What's best, it tastes great. The only drawback is, it's actually very inaccessible. I cannot think how to reach there by bus. It's all the way to the east, even.
Tomorrow's Sunday, and it's another mugging day. I'll probably do some chemistry tomorrow. I'm quite put back by my chemistry during prelims, and another C is a no-no! I'm looking forward to an A :)
Everyone taking 'A' and 'O' Levels soon, all the best :D Let's give it our best shot. As what many say, "it's now or never!" I definitely do not want to regret this. Let's go all out this time, and score our dream grades :)
